A beautifully renovated traditional three bedroomed farmhouse located on the Strathtyrum Estate close to the hugely popular Balgove Larder farm shop and restaurant. The house sits between the Balgove Larder complex and the main drive to Strathtyrum House with its own garden ground and private car park. The house, on three levels, is full of rural charm and offers an excellent base from which to discover all that St Andrews has to offer together with the wider East Neuk. Only a mile outside St Andrews but very much in the country it is an ideal house for golfing parties and families alike. The property lies a short walk from The Strathtyrum Gate Lodge and the two properties could be taken together for a total of 7 people.

Strathtyrum Farmhouse is a traditional 19th Century house which has undergone recent renovation and upgrade. It now forms a superb base from which to explore St Andrews and the wider East Neuk. If you are a party of golfers visiting the area it is an excellent retreat after a hard days golf or for a family there is ample space both inside and out to relax and enjoy your holiday. The historic town is only a mile away and a number of the golf facilities are even closer. You have the benefit of the ever popular Balgove Larder on your doorstep for all your food needs either to self cater or to eat in the Larder or the wonderful Steak Barn.
The house benefits from its own private car parking and enclosed garden ground.
The accommodation comprises:-
On the ground floor there is a generous entrance hall with space for coats and welly boots. Off the hall is a generous and comfortable sitting room with a wood burning stove and TV. Also on the ground floor is the large kitchen/diner again with a wood burning stove. The kitchen is well equipped with all of the necessary appliances and ample storage together with a dining area where you can eat in comfort. Finally on the ground floor is the family bathroom.
On the first floor are two lovely bedrooms, one room with a 4ft wide bed and one which can be either made up with a king size double or two single beds. There is also a modern shower room on this level.
Finally on the top floor is a further large bedroom which can be either made up with two single beds or one king sized double.
