Thistle Lodge lies at the end of a private lane entered off South Street in the heart of St Andrews town centre. The owners developed this fabulous two storey property to provide their own artist's studio on the ground floor and a luxury holiday rental studio on the first floor. The building lies at the bottom of the owners' garden and as the site previously housed their garage it is served by proper vehicular access. but there is no parking available. Guests can drive to the property on arrival and departure.

On entering the property there is an area inside the door for storing golf bags, shoes,.etc and you then ascend a lovely wooden staircase to the studio. There is a window at the top of the stairs which means that this area is flooded with natural light. The studio comprises a comfortable living area with a sofa, a small table and two chairs, a desk and a Smart TV on the wall. This space is dominated by a huge picture window facing east and looking out over all of the historic neighbouring gardens that run back from the houses on South Street. To the other side of the living area lies a well thought out kitchen space. It has a two ring induction hob, wall oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is a boiling water tap at the sink.

Lying off the living area is the bedroom with a king size zip and link bed which can therefore be configured as a double or two single beds. There is a dressing table and ample storage. Off the bedroom there is a modern shower room.

The whole studio, although compact, has been expertly designed and fitted out to an extremely high standard. This really is a "hidden gem" right in the heart of the town.

Please be aware that the annual Lammas Street Market is scheduled to be in operation on South Street from the 9th August until 11th August 2026. The Fair runs until 11.00pm each day.
