Sleeps 6 - Dormie House is a beautiful modern cottage located in the heart of the village of Kingsbarns just a few miles from St Andrews. Recently developed and boasting a host of modern conveniences the property would be an ideal base for golfers looking to play some of the greatest courses in the world or for families to explore all that the East Neuk of Fife has to offer. Kingsbarns Golf Links is now established as one of the greatest links courses in the world and is right on your doorstep at Dormie House. The quaint fishing villages of coastal Fife are a few minutes drive away as is the historic town of St Andrews with all that it has to offer. Kingsbarns has a wonderful beach 10 - 15 minutes walk from the house and there is a bar/restaurant in the village as well as a small shop. An enclosed garden and private parking is available at the rear of the house.

KIngsbarns is a charming village just a short drive from the historic town of St Andrews. This beautiful coastal village boasts a fabulous beach ideal for all the family and plays host to the spectacular Kingsbarns golf links which have fast become known as one of the world’s outstanding courses. Local attractions include the iconic Victorian Walled Garden at Cambo Gardens, Scotland’s Secret Bunker near St Andrews, Crail Pottery in the heart of Crail, with many more places to go and see.
St Andrews is renowned world wide as the ‘Home of Golf’. The Old Course is a regular host to the Open Championship which was last held there in July 2015. The Open will return in 2022 when we will see the 150th playing of this historic tournament. Be sure to book your accommodation early. There are now six further golf courses run by the St Andrews Links Trust, including the Castle Course opened in 2009. There are many other golf courses in the area including the Duke’s Course, two courses at Fairmount, St Andrews Bay, two courses at Crail Golfing Society, Elie and the brand new course at Dumbarnie Golf Links.
Tucked into a corner of the east coast of Scotland between St Andrews and Edinburgh, the East Neuk of Fife is one of Scotland's most beautiful regions. Dormie House is beautifully decorated and furnished to provide luxurious accommodation for up to 6 guests. The house has everything that you will need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
There is a spacious, elegantly furnished living room with south facing views over the Village Green. This room has a 55" Smart TV with Sky Q including Sky Sports and a Sonos sound system. There is a separate dining area with a large table that will comfortably accommodate six people.
Across the generous hall is a modern kitchen equipped with all of the appliances you would expect including, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine and a TV with Sky Q multi-room. There is a table and six chairs in the kitchen. Off the kitchen is a utility room with a washer/dryer and this leads to the back garden and the rear parking area.
The master bedroom has a double bed, generous wardrobe storage, a Sonos sound system and an ensuite shower room. The double bedroom has wardrobe storage and a 50" Smart Tv with Sky Q multi-room. The twin bedroom again has ample wardrobe space.
There is a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.
There is garden ground at the front and the rear of the property and there is garden furniture.
