With the glorious St Monans harbour on your doorstep, it is a perfect base from which to explore the Fife coastline and St Andrews. The other picturesque towns of the East Neuk, Pittenweem and Elie are within 10 minutes drive in either direction. The historic university town of St Andrews, with its cultural and sporting attractions, is a 20 minute drive away and there are bus links from St Monans around the coast.

The East Neuk village of St Monans is a small fishing village, steeped in history, which used to have Millers boat yard which built fairly substantial fishing boats. The harbour is very picturesque and as a relic of the past are the saltpans which in yesteryears were an active part of the local economy. It contains all the facilities you could hope for in a small village: there are 2 general stores, a Post Office, cafes and the East Pier smokehouse and fish merchants. There is a very famous restaurant in the village “Craig Millar @16 West End" a Michelin star restaurant. St Monans is very centrally placed being 20 minutes from St Andrews, under 10 minutes from Anstruther which has an excellent 9-hole golf course not to mention a superb restaurant called “Rockies” at the club. Elie and Earlsferry and its beautiful golf course and the Elie Sports Club with tennis and bowls and a 9-hole golf course are also about 10 minutes away. The village has superb views across the Firth of the Forth to the Isle of May and the Bass Rock. Pittenweem to the north of St Monans is host to one of Scotland's most famous art festivals in August with a stunning fireworks display to open the festival.

This fabulous property is a first floor apartment situated towards the east end of the town in the seaside village of St Monans. Thanks to its size and location, it would particularly appeal to guests looking for a relaxing coastal escape.

On arrival at Sage House there is on-street parking. On entering the property there is an internal stairway up to the first floor apartment where you enter a spacious hallway which leads to the lounge, kitchen and a small snug area. The kitchen is very well equipped, it has a lovely double Belfast sink, induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and separate freezer . There is also a dining table and chairs for four guests within the kitchen. The snug area houses a separate washing machine and tumble dryer. The large spacious sitting room has a lovely wood-burning stove and plenty of comfortable seating. There is a flat screen TV and a DVD player. Beautifully finished, the sitting room is a lovely, comfortable space for relaxing or entertaining.

The spacious family bathroom is located on the top floor. This is a great relaxing room with bath and overhead shower, wc and vanity unit, again all the fittings in this room are brand new..
