Sleeps 6 - Bay View is a beautifully appointed property set on Forth Street in St Monans with stunning sea views from the upper windows. Set over 3 storeys, this generously proportioned house is a fabulous holiday home.

The East Neuk village of St Monans is a small fishing village, steeped in history, which used to have Millers boat yard which built fairly substantial fishing boats. The harbour is very picturesque and as a relic of the past are the saltpans which in yesteryears were an active part of the local economy. It contains all the facilities you could hope for in a small village: there are 2 general stores, a Post Office, cafe and the Blue Pier smokehouse and fish merchants.
There is a very famous restaurant in the village “The Seafood Restaurant” which also owns the Seafood Restaurant in St Andrews. The village is also fortunate to have an excellent restaurant at the Mayview Hotel.
St Monans is very centrally placed being 20 minutes from St Andrews, under 10 minutes from Anstruther which has an excellent 9-hole golf course not to mention a superb restaurant called “Rockies” at the club. Elie and Earlsferry and its beautiful golf course and the Elie Sports Club with tennis and bowls and a 9-hole golf course are also about 10 minutes away.
The village and the house has superb views across the Firth of the Forth to the Isle of May and the Bass Rock. Dundee and St Andrews offer a more comprehensive choice of shops and restaurants and are just a short drive away.
Pittenweem to the north of St Monans is host to one of Scotland's most famous art festivals in August with a stunning fireworks display to open the festival.

A traditional 3 storey terraced fisherman's house located within the conservation area of the picturesque village of St Monans. With the glorious St Monans harbour on your doorstep, it is a perfect place from which to explore the Fife coastline and St Andrews. The house has been tastefully furnished to a high standard and enjoys luxury sea views from the upper floors. Built around 1840 the house was renovated and refurbished in 2006 with the aim of providing comfortable and luxurious holiday accommodation, somewhere for guests to relax and unwind. Wifi is available.

On arrival at Bay View there is on road parking and steps up to the front door. On entering the property there is a wide hallway which leads directly through to the back door and the rear small courtyard. With garden furniture, this is a good place to start and end the day.

On the ground floor are located 2 double bedrooms - one twin and one double. The largest is a bright front facing bedroom with twin beds. The other bedroom is to the rear and has a double bed. Both rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. The stairs lead to a mezzanine level and the cloakroom with wash hand basin and wc.

The first floor hosts the wonderful and well equipped dining kitchen. There is a dining table and chairs for up to 6 guests. There is a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine, cafetiere, iron/ ironing board.
